The Chinese New Version (CNV) (formerly known as the "New Chinese Version" (NCV)), was completed in 1992 by the Worldwide Bible Society with the assistance of the Lockman Foundation. This is the traditional version of the CNV and has become very popular, especially among evangelical Christians.
