This is an autobiography of Jewish historian, Flavius Josephus (AD 37 - c. 100), translated from the original language by William Whiston. Josephus authored several books between c. AD 75 and c. 99. His books provide background to first century Judaism and are a useful context for Bible study. This autobiography is believed to have been written c. AD 99
