This is a twenty-one volume exposition of Jewish history, law and custom by Jewish historian, Flavius Josephus (AD 37 - c. 100), translated from the original language by William Whiston. Josephus authored several books between c. AD 75 and c. 99. His books provide background to first century Judaism and are a useful context for Bible study.
